Class Description

I always begin with our hands.

Before we pick up a Gua Sha, there is a moment to notice. What feels different today? What happens when we soften our pressure or change direction?

In this one-hour Facial Sculpting Class, I share the approach I teach at LaPlume: a simple facial self-scan, hands-on facial massage, then the Gua Sha movements at the heart of facial sculpting. We explore pressure, angle, direction and rhythm — not as a rigid routine to memorize, but as choices we can make with more intention.

I will show you how I use Plum Oil for comfortable glide and a White Jadeite Gua Sha as an extension of our hands, rather than a replacement for them.

Some of us are here to explore at-home facial sculpting for ourselves. Others spend our days caring for clients. There is room for both.

For me, the goal is not to get every movement perfect. It is to learn what to notice and make the practice our own. With lifetime access, you can revisit the class, practice at your own pace and discover something new each time.
